This elegant clock has a dark brown patinated bronze case in the form of a vase; the case is partly gilt and decorated with a laurel wreath, gooseneck handles and a putto relief around the concave neck of the vase. The round foot ornamented with a palm frieze rises from a square stepped base on four bun feet, which is decorated with a butterfly relief and a flower garland.
