This timepiece is in magnificent condition and features a beautiful dial with gold-framed tritium luminous indexes. The 24-hour GMT bezel was originally brown-coloured and has taken on a lovely café latte hue over the years, which is in perfect harmony with the colour of the dial and the applied gold indexes. The colour scheme created by the dial, the bezel and the gold case is very unusual and brings out the beauty of the watch particularly well.

The GMT-Master line was originally created for aviators and the jet-set. The GMT-Master was the official watch of Pan Am airlines and indicates time in two separate time-zones via the revolving bezel and 24-hour hand. The bezel is set to home or reference time and is used in conjunction with the 24-hour hand. Ref. 1675 was launched in 1960 and was available in stainless steel, stainless steel and gold and 18 K yellow gold without the crown guard. From the early 1970s it was available in Rolesor (steel and gold).
