This classic Rolex watch with white GMT-Master II lettering has a black dial with a central red/white luminous 24h hand and a bidirectional rotating red and black "Coke" bezel with 24h indicator.

The story of the GMT Master is that of an aviator’s watch: The American airline PanAm wanted to supply their pilots and navigators with a sturdy watch with a second time zone and approached Rolex for the development of such a timepiece. The result was the GMT Master with an additional 24-hour hand that was linked to the 12-hour hand; right from the beginning the model also featured the characteristic Cyclops lens. In 1985 Rolex launched the GMT-Master II, which - looking practically identical to its predecessor - allowed moving the 12-hour hand back and forth in hour steps, independently from the 24-hour hand.
