The most distinctive features of this timepiece are probably the one-directional revolving bezel with its black/ivory-coloured acrylic inlay and the pointed crown guards, which ensures that the case looks neither pillow-shaped nor square. The dial is matte black with grey subsidiary dials and a date window in an unusual position at 12 o’clock. The Super Sub Sea Datron HS360 is powered by the legendary automatic Zenith El Primero chronograph calibre 3019PHC with Movado enraving on the winding rotor.
The overall condition of this Super Sub Sea Datron HS360is excellent. The edges of the case are well defined and the engraving on the back is still deep. Dial and hands are very good and have developed a wonderful patina. The acrylic bezel is in good order and in perfect condition.

In the late 1960's/early 1970's, the company was owned by the Movado-Zenith-Mondia holding company. Being part of this union allowed Movado access to Zenith's now legendary 3019 PHC "El Primero" calibre – which is found inside the watch, the only difference being that Movado engraved their own name and logo on the winding rotor.
Calibre 3019PHC is an automatic chronograph movement from Zenith. Released in 1969, this was one of the first automatic chronographs ever and spawned the entire El Primero movement family.
