<br>Pressburg, das heutige Bratislava, war einst die wichtigste Stadt des Königreichs Ungarn (sogar Hauptstadt bis 1783 und nochmals 1848). Nach dem Frieden von Trianon (1920) wurde die Stadt der neugegründeten Tschechoslowakei zugeteilt. Seit 1993 ist Bratislava die Hauptstadt der Slowakei.
