The first precision pocket watch marked with movement no. 100001 produced by the company "Glashütter Präzisions-Uhren-Fabrik Akt. Ges." (founded by the brothers Loeske, industrialists and investors from Berlin) was their first timepiece produced away from the established Glashütte system based on the division of labour. Ernst Kasiske, a former manufacturer in Glashütte, who had also worked as regleur for A. Lange & Söhne was employed as manager without owning any shares in the company.
