Mahogany, solid, English construction, granite support plate, pendulum block and seat-board with spotting, invar steel pendulum rod with brass cylinder.

Movement
Brass, chronometer escapement according to Ferdinand Berthoud, gilt plate gears, jewelled pivots, transmission of impulse by external escapement wheel, spring detent with gold spring. Signed on the driving barrel: J. Kaltenbach, Maker, 1924, Stoke Newington, London N16.
