Carrera 45 Eggshell

An attractive, rare and early vintage wrist chronograph with 45 min. counter, 1/5 seconds division and eggshell-coloured, patinated dial - a rare variation only seen on early Carreras 

The Heuer Carrera dating from 1963 was originally launched with two or three subsidiary dials, depending on the calibre inside. It is still one of the most sought-after vintage Heuer chronographs; with the slim bezel and the boldly slanted lugs the case appears much larger on the wrist than it actually is.
This timepiece is in worn but good condition, with slight signs of ageing; the dial is very attractive with patinated luminous material in the hands and the luminous dots on the hour markers.

The mechanical hand-wound chronographs of the Carrera model series were characterised by a clear appearance with easy-to-read stop times.
