Arnold Schwarzenegger and Audemars Piguet look back on a long partnership that now encompasses more than ten different cooperation models.
In 2011, Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet collaborated with Arnold Schwarzenegger to launch a limited edition version of the Royal Oak Offshore - "The Legacy Arnold Schwarzenegger". In reference to the famous action hero and watch collector, it was intended primarily for the large wrists of muscle-bound men.
For their Royal Oak Offshore "The Legacy Arnold Schwarzenegger" Audemars Piguet used several novel materials. The impressive 48 mm case, the distinctive bold bezel and the screwed-in hexagonal crown are made of black ceramic material, the case back and the buckle are made of titanium. The dial features a powerful black "méga tapisserie" pattern. To ensure easy readability and an interesting contrast, large rose gold Arabic numerals and a rose gold tachymeter scale have been used. The rose gold Royal Oak hands are coated with luminous material.
