This charming travelling clock on four silver ball feet is decorated on all sides with translucent candy-pink enamel over an engine-turned zigzag pattern and framed by a black enamel border. The back is hinged, a pusher on the side releases the repeater.
The Wegelin jewellery and watch shop was opened in 1911 on Rue de Bonne 12 in Grenoble. The sons of the company founder Arnold and Henri took over the business. Henri Wegelin founded a jewelry workshop in Lyon in 1920. Shortly afterwards, a watch shop was opened in Geneva.
