This almost octagonal model is aesthetically inspired by Gérald Genta. The case was made by Lascor and is partly made of 18 K pink gold, as well as ultra-light titanium, a metal as hard as steel but difficult to work. It is extremely resistant to corrosion and scratches, which disappear "self-healing", so to speak, thanks to the presence of a tough oxide film. Despite the difficult machining possibilities, Omega succeeded in inlaying the elegant titanium decor in the early 1980s.
