The silvered dial possesses a classic layout with two subsidiary dials, a spiral-shaped red tachy in the centre and a red telemeter scale, positioned near the edge.
The overall condition is excellent with a nearly perfect steel case and finely bevelled lugs. The original dial is slightly darkened, but also immaculate. The chronograph movement is exceptionally well preserved and works as intended.

By concentrating its production resources, the Gallet Watch Company was able to hold its ground on the American market as early as the late 19th century. In 1899 the company produced more than 100,000 time pieces per year. The use of the first wristwatches during World War I was one of the company’s early successes.
