The Constellation, reference 168.018 was advertised in Omega's international collection between 1967 and 1971. This example dates from 1968 and features a narrow, flat bezel, long, angular lugs and a flat, silver-plated dial with applied steel indexes with black inserts and luminous dots. The Baton hands are similarly designed, with black inserts and corresponding luminous fields at the tips of the hands.

In 1967 the Constellation was the highlight of the Omega range. The chronometer is known for precision, excellent performance as well as an elegant design and perfect finishing.
The name Constellation is emphasised by a small applied gold star on the dial. The medallion on the case back shows an observatory surrounded by eight stars representing Omega’s greatest achievements in chronometer tests such as the famous world records of 1933 and 1936 at Kew-Teddington.
