In 2008 D. Dornblüth & Sohn presented their first gimballed wristwatch with a ship's chronometer look. With part of the proceeds from the sale of the project, which is limited to 75 pieces, the Saxon family business is supporting the restoration of the Gorch Fock 1, a legendary barque, which was launched in 1933 as a sail training ship.
