Even though this timepiece has two oval pushers, it is only the pusher in the top position at 2 o’clock that is used for starting and stopping the chronograph. The other pusher does not do anything. Still, this rare variant of a "single pusher" chronograph sits in a beautiful 18 K yellow gold case in a modern, comfortable size and the dial has achieved a charming, light patina over the years, which makes this timepiece a very desirable vintage classic.

The company Eberhard was established in La Chaux-de-Fonds by Georges Emile Eberhard in 1887 and specialized in the development of highly accurate chronographs. In the late 1940s, the company launched the Extra-fort model, which would soon become one of the most important timepieces of the brand. It takes its name from its extremely robust case and is regarded as a forerunner of all Eberhard chronographs.
