Karl Zimmerman, Liverpool, born in Germany, was a highly regarded chronometer maker and supplier to Victor Kullberg. He was known for manufacturing high-grade open face pocket watches with up/down dials and was active from about 1845 to 1885. Zimmerman submitted several chronometers for examination at the Yale College Observatory in 1884.
