Despite minor signs of use on the case back and age-related patina on the dial, the watch is in excellent condition and is the ideal accessory for the perfect summer outfit.

In 1967 Omega marketing manager Robert Forster conceived of an entirely new style of watch. Designed by Raymond Thévenaz, with a case by Italian manufacturer Fernando Fontana (Sesto Calende), the "Dynamic" family was launched in 1968 to a receptive audience. Its elliptical shape results from the first study of the way a watch sits on the wrist. The crown is integrated into the case so as not to disturb its aerodynamic line, which inspired the name "Dynamic". The automatic movement, the one-piece Unicoc case and the reinforced glass ensure water resistance to 30 metres. The dial allows excellent readability thanks to the concentric zones and the high-contrast hands. The strap, made of Corfam, a synthetic material with around 30 air holes, is screwed into a circular groove on the back of the case with a steel ring.
In 1970 the "Dynamic" family was moved into the "De Ville" line, which is where Omega was concentrating its design efforts at the time. There it continued to be a great success.
