Reference 2569/1 was produced for only a short time in the mid-1950s. Unlike its sister reference 2569, the present model has a flat and angled connection between the lugs, while reference 2569 has a rounded "hood".
The beautiful slightly darkened cream-coloured dial has an attractive, unusual layout with applied gold numerals 9-12-3 and the dealer's signature of the jeweller Huber in Munich. Until now, only three examples of the ref. 2569/1 were known, this is the fourth.
With its classically round case and a size of just under 36 mm, this wristwatch represents the elegance that Patek Philippe achieved in the 1950s and still embodies today. For the collector of rare vintage watches, this excellently preserved example is a must.
