The unique design of the "World Time" reference 5130 takes its inspiration from Patek Philippe’s world time watches of the 1930s, which regularly fetch record prices at auctions. The reading has been facilitated by a day/night indication with a light and a dark area on the 24-hour disc. The outer white area that surrounds the ring as far as to the bezel shows local times as well as all 24 time zones worldwide by listing 23 city names from Cairo to Syndey and Paris in dark blue letters, only London is shown with a red arrow and is written in black.
