This waterproof hand-wound timepiece, reference 3483, was launched in 1963 and was only produced in stainless steel. As far as we know, only about 500 pieces were produced in total.
With its angular, slightly down-turned lugs and flat bezel, the watch has a beautiful presence on the wrist. The silver-coloured dial is refined with a sunburst finish and, together with the indexes and hands, looks somewhat monochrome in the steel case, but all the more elegant and refined for it. Inside is the exquisite hand-wound calibre 27SC (Secondes au Centre) with a Geneva seal. All in all, a very rare and appealing timepiece for the collector of high-quality vintage watches.
This watch is illustrated and described in: J. Michael Mehltretter "Die Noblen aus der Schweiz", Ulm 2006, p. 159, ill. p. 151 and in J. Michael Mehltretter "Armbanduhren, Technik, Funktion und Bewertung", 2nd corrected edition, Stuttgart 2022, p. 198.
