The model "Prince" is without doubt the most elegant wristwatch among the form watches: rectangular and slightly curved to fit well onto the wrist. The first models Prince Brancard - Ref. 971, 971A, 971 U and 1490 - were produced from 1929 to 1935. It is very interesting to know that the price of this watch was respectable £ 65 in 1929.
The 18 K gold version of this model is very rare and less common than the 14 K or 9 K gold models.
