<br>1993 kehrte Omega in den Kreis der Taucheruhrenhersteller zurück und stellte im Frühjahr 1993 ihre Seamaster Professional Chrono Diver vor, einem mechanischen Chronograph-Chronometer, dessen Drücker bis zu einer Tiefe von 300 m problemlos funktionieren. Sie hat eine verschraubbare Krone, ausgerüstet mit einem doppelten Dichtungssystem (O-Ring und Druckdichtung), gewölbtes reflexfreies Saphirglas und ein verschraubbares Helium-Druckablassventil. Die Leser der deutschen Fachzeitschrift "Armbanduhren" krönten sie zur Uhr des Jahres 1994.

<br>In the spring of 1993 Omega returned to making diver’s watches and introduced their Seamaster Professional Chrono Diver, a mechanical chronograph chronometer with pushers that work perfectly to a depth of 300 m. The watch features a screw-in crown with a double sealing system (o-ring and pressure seal), a domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal and a screw-in helium valve. In 1994 it was voted "Watch of the Year" by the audience of the German magazine "Armbanduhren" (Wristwatches).
