Teutonic Mark V

A very rare wrist chronograph with cult status; with 24-hour display, tachmeter bezel, day of the week and date - produced for the German market. This "Mark V" model bears the Seamaster designation on the caseback

The idea behind the use of "Seamaster" designations for certain models of the "Speedmaster" was that the "Speedmaster" was considered part of the "Seamaster" range. It occurred mainly for the Mark series and for the "Speedmaster" models with calibre 1045 intended for the German market, which used the "Seamaster" designation by default.
The rounded form and the silky satin-finished steel case are responsible for the cult status the so-called "Speedmasters Teutonic" dating from the 1980s enjoy nowadays – they lend the watches a timeless, sporty appeal. As these models only had a rather short production run, they have become highly sought-after collector’s pieces today.
