This military watch is part of the "Dirty Dozen", a group of 12 watches of similar design commissioned by the British Ministry of Defence from 12 watch manufacturers and worn by British soldiers during the Second World War. Each of these watches had Arabic numerals, a sub-seconds dial and featured the Broad Arrow mark. The casebacks were all stamped "W.W.W." (for Watch, Wrist and Waterproof). Cyma produced about 20,000 watches for the British Army during the Second World War. With a diameter of 38 mm, the Cyma was the largest of the "Dirty Dozen".

This historic military wristwatch of the British Forces was restored at great expense. The case was revised, the dial was cleaned and the numbers and hands were fitted with new luminous material. The movement was also professionally overhauled. All in all, this is a watch that is perfect for daily use.
