<br>M.A. Plojoux war ein Genfer Uhrmacher von ausgezeichnetem Ruf, der sich auf Uhren mit Komplikationen und Schmuck spezialisiert hatte. Seine Werkstatt befand sich in der Rue du Rhône Nr. 30. Plojoux wurde während der Weltausstellung 1878 in Paris mit zwei Auszeichnungen geehrt; er gewann außerdem 1880 eine Goldmedaille und nahm 1896 an der Schweizerischen Landesausstellung in Genf teil. Das Uhrwerk der vorliegenden Uhr wird dem Ruf dieses Hauses gerecht, es besticht durch seine außerordentliche Qualität.

<br>M. A. Plojoux was a Geneva watchmaker of excellent repute, who specialized in complicated watches and jewellery. His workshop was at 30, Rue du Rhône. Plojoux was honoured with two awards at the Paris Universal Exhibition in 1878; he also won a gold medal in 1880 and took part in the Geneva National Exhibition in 1896. The movement of this watch certainly lives up to the reputation of its brand and distinguishes itself for its outstanding quality.
