A rare minute repeating hunting case pocket watch - with original mahogany box with mother-of-pearl inlay

The spring lid is chased and engraved and shows a farmer sowing his field early in the morning under a diamond-set rising sun.
This piece is a wonderful example of the fine quality Swiss watches. With its elaborately ornamented case it is very likely to have been a special commission.
