Bubble Back

A rare and attractive vintage bi-color wristwatch with centre seconds and Roman numerals, so called "Big Bubble Back" - CHRONOMETER

This beautiful wristwatch chronometer has a crispy-edged case made of stainless steel and a fluted bezel made of pink gold with engraved bar indexes and fine circles. The dial is very unusual, featuring long bar indexes as well as dainty Roman numerals. Despite its rather small diameter of 32 mm, the timepiece has a masculine presence on the wrist and is a real eye-catcher.

The Rolex Bubbleback reference 3372 was launched in the early 1930s and was originally always sold with a "Bulletin de Marche", with the stainless steel versions differing slightly from those in steel/gold and in gold.
The convex shape of the case back, which housed the self-winding mechanism, gave the watch its nickname. The Bubble Back was produced for over 22 years in various materials and with a variety of dials and was the best-selling Rolex model for a long time.
