An interesting object signed James Murset, of whom hardly any of his own work is known, but who sometimes appears on Albert H. Potter watches with the signature "James Murset, Horloger - Régleur".

Swiss watchmaker Louis James Murset was born on 7 March 1865 in Diesse near Biel. He probably lived in Besançon, as his two children were born there. A date of Murset's death is not yet known.
