<br>Diese Uhr stammt aus der frühen Entwicklungsphase des Chronographenmechanismus und ist ein "echter" Chronograph mit unabhängigem Räderwerk. Mit größter Wahrscheinlichkeit stammt sie aus der Zeit kurz vor Adolphe Nicoles Patent von 1862. Im Gegensatz zu diesem Patent können die Zeiger der vorliegenden Uhr nicht auf Null gestellt werden.

<br>This watch dates from the early developments of the mechanism for chronographs. It is a "real" chronograph with an independent train. It most probably dates from shortly before Adolphe Nicole's patent of 1862. Unlike that patent, the hands of the present watch cannot be set to zero.
