Both bezels are decorated with delicate floral tendrils and further the gold dial is ornamented with a surrounding floral tendril in multicoloured gold.


Jean-Louis Archinard was born in Geneva on 25 February 1770. His father was Jean-Pierre Archinard (1740-1802), watchmaker in Geneva. His brother Jacob-Hercule Archinard (1768-1845) was a case maker in Geneva and also supplied companies like Vacheron & Constantin.
Jean-Louis Archinard died in Geneva on March 19,1848.
