The case, 42 mm in diameter and with the characteristic cushion shape, is made of stainless steel. At 2 o'clock and 4 o'clock are two crowns; one is used to set the time, the date and the second time zone, as well as to wind the watch. The other winds the alarm and sets the alarm time, indicated by an arrow-shaped hand.
The automatic movement is a Girard-Perregaux base with Panerai bridges and oscillating weight, visible through the sapphire crystal screw back. The oscillating weight winds both the going train and the alarm.
