An attractive vintage wristwatch with indirect centre seconds - Chronometer - with the legendary calibre 30T2SCRG

The Omega calibre 30T2 was introduced in 1938; it was considered to be a very adaptable movement and produced in various versions until 1963. The movement only has a diameter of 30 mm but is set up to allow the largest possible sizes for balance and barrel. Because of its quality and reliability, the British Government ordered over 110,000 examples of this timepiece during World War II. This, however, is the rare luxury version with chronometer certification.
