This timepiece was given in recognition of 25 years of loyal service at the Commerce Petroleum Company.

Reference 2508 was in production from 1951 to 1960; its most distinctive feature is the waterproof, screwed Borgel case, which is almost a contradiction to the otherwise elegant design of the watch. The 35 mm case is also unusually large, which made it stand out from the other waterproof Calatrava models at the time. The manual-wound calibre 27SC is famous for its central second. Also noteworthy are the gold indexes and the gold hands, which are coated with radium luminous material. Only a few watches of this reference were equipped with radium luminous material.
