An extremely rare, extravagant Geneva pendant watch with Calatrava cross dial - with original box

The deep blue dial has a Calatrava cross in the centre and a fine gold border that runs along the edge. The oval case is similarly elaborately ornamented with exquisitely engraved scrolls on bezel and bow; the back also features a central Calatrava cross.
Patek Philippe’s reference 874 is known as the Ellipse D'Or pendant and was available from 1976 until approx. 1991 as engraved or smooth yellow or white gold versions. Engraved models such as this are extremely rare and hardly ever appear on the market.
