<br>Im Sekundentakt von der Schlange im umlaufenden Ausschnitt bedrängt sehen wir in der kreisrunden Öffnung rechts Adam und Eva unter dem Apfelbaum in zartester Email-Malerei. Links daneben befindet sich eine mit Goldranken verzierte Öffnung, welche den Blick auf die dreiarmige Messingunruh erlaubt. Die untere Hälfte gehört dem weißen Stundenring flankiert von zwei anmutigen Damen mit Blumenkörben.

<br>The circular aperture shows an exquisite enamel painting of Adam and Eve under the apple tree; the serpent in the cut-out circles the couple once every second. To the left, a window elaborately ornamented with gold tendrils reveals the three-armed brass balance. The white hour dial is positioned in the lower part of the watch and is flanked by two graceful ladies with flower baskets.
