This is the traditional version of the clock in a silver coloured case with round dial and nickel-plated Arabic numerals and indexes.
The Atmos (for atmospheric clock) takes its energy from from the expansion and contraction of a capsule filled with ethyl chloride gas that responds to changes in temperature and barometric pressure. The produced energy winds the mainspring. According to the makers of the clock, a temperature difference of 1 Kelvin creates a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
