This fascinating multi-scale chronograph features three different-coloured minute segments (blue, red and green) to indicate on which colour segment the speed can be read on each tachy scale. It is one of the first waterproof wrist chronographs Omega launched in 1937 – the gold version was used in the famous 1997 movie "Seven Years in Tibet".
The watch is in excellent original condition with oval pushers and satin-finished, lyre-shaped lugs in a large steel case, which – while it may have been oversize at the time – perfectly meets the taste of today’s watch aficionados. It is fitted with the legendary calibre 33.3, which is regarded the predecessor of the Speedmaster calibre 321. This highly coveted collector’s piece is certainly a cult icon among vintage chronographs!
