Jaeger-LeCoultre produced this model from 1970 to 1983. The marbled brown case is sealed all around, with the pressure capsule and the balance protruding from the back. The elegant dial has Roman hours and the bezel is decorated with a fine classic pearled rim.
The Atmos (for atmospheric clock) takes its energy from from the expansion and contraction of a capsule filled with ethyl chloride gas that responds to changes in temperature and barometric pressure. The produced energy winds the mainspring. According to the makers of the clock, a temperature difference of 1 Kelvin creates a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.
