This coveted classic style icon is the civilian version of the military chronograph of the same name. It was designed by Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, the founder of the Porsche Design Studio which he established in 1972. Soon afterwards he launched the "Chronograph I" in cooperation with the watch brand Orfina. Later the Porsche watches were produced with IWC Schaffhausen and Eterna in Grenchen.
