The Conquest was launched in 1954 and is today considered one of the most famous and breathtaking vintage Longines models.
This timepiece has a brushed gold dial with an applied, bevelled gold ring which connects the hour markers and – due to the small, canted triangular markers - creates a kind of reflection. The robust 18K gold case has a screwed-on back with a central blue enamel medallion with gold stars and sea waves. As this is one of the early models, it is fitted with Longines calibre 19AS, one of the first automatic movements of the brand.
A well-preserved gold Longines Conquest dating from the 1950 in such excellent condition is a rare find and a joy for any lover of unique, legendary vintage timepieces.
