Breguet, "200m Automatic", Case No. 905, Cal. Valjoux, 32 x 33 mm, circa 1976
A diver's unique small vintage automatic wristwatch with large luminous indexes and centre seconds, released as a gift in 1976
Case: steel, screw back. Dial: black, internal bidirectional rotating bezel with 60 minutes division, luminous indexes.
This diver’s watch is a unique piece Breguet made to order in 1976 as a gift; this is confirmed in writing by Emanuel Breguet.
The timepiece is in excellent condition, the dial is immaculate with large and beautiful luminous indexes ensuring perfect readability under water; the crown adjusts the rotating inner bezel. The tonneau-shaped case is typical for the 1970s and – at 32 mm only - quite delicate for a diver’s watch. The water resistance to a depth of 200 m, which met the standard at the time, is printed on the dial. The watch is fitted with an unspecified automatic Valjoux movement. This one of a kind diver's watch is very much a must-have for any collection of rare vintage timepieces.
