A rare, small quarter repeating carriage clock with quarter hour strike "Grande Sonnerie" for the American market
Case: brass, chrome-plated, facet glazed on all sides. Dial: enamel. Movm.: brass movement, rhodium-plated, ground, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, 2 barrels, screw compensation balance.
This interesting small movement is fitted with two connected barrels that are wound with a special key working the patented mechanism.
