A heavy vintage automatic wristwatch with date - CHRONOMETER
Case: 18k gold, back with observatory hallmark, "Omega" 18k gold bracelet with deployant clasp, bracelet length 145 mm, total length 180 mm, total weight 143 g. Dial: gilt.
The Omega Constellation Chronometer was launched in 1969 and is one of the first examples of the Constellation "Integral" range with integrated bracelet worldwide; the system was designed in 1964 by Pierre Moinat, who was director of the Omega development team from 1955 to 1981. The watch has a two-part, gently curved tonneau-shaped gold case with satin-finished dial. The applied hour markers are highlighted in black. Due to the shape of the dial, this model is often called the "TV".
