The manual wind Valjoux 88 calibre is the successor of the calibres Valjoux 22 and 72. It was regularly used by many brands and is one of the most complex versions because of the additional calendar and the moon phase display. The production ran from 1947 to 1974 and in total approximately 13,000 timepieces were manufactures.
