A vintage automatic wristwatch, so called "bubble back", delivered to Beyer jewellers in Zurich - with original box
Case: steel, screw back, screwed "Oyster Patent" winding crown, riveted flexible steel bracelet (later), bracelet length 160 mm, total length 195 mm. Dial: two-coloured silvered.
The legendary Rolex Bubbleback watches took their name from their bulky automatic movements which dictated the rounded shape of the case back; today this model is – despite its size – a highly coveted vintage classic. In addition, this timepiece also boasts a beautifully aged, two-colour silvered "Double Name Dial" (Beyer).
