An attractive vintage wrist chronograph with full calendar and moon phase
Case: 18k gold, screw back. Dial: gilt.
A typical wristwatch produced at the height of the quartz crisis in the late 1970s. The period was characterised by a marked lack of innovation in the mechanical sector of the horological industry and it was mainly existing stock that was used for production. This does, however, not reflect on the quality of this timepiece – the case is solid and robust, the dial is of supreme quality and the ratchet wheel calibre 72C is known to be extremely reliable.
