A rare, heavy Glashuette quarter repeating hunting case pocket watch in practically new condition - manufactured in quality 1A - with chronograph and 30 min. counter, sold on 1912/06/11 to company Paul Gerais in Seeburg for 1445 Marks - with original box and certificate and Lange extract from the archives
Case: 18k rose gold, monogrammed, gold dome with engraving. Dial: enamel. Movm.: 3/4 plate movement, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
According to Martin Huber’s "Lange-Liste", Lange & Söhne only ever produced around 60 other chronographs with quarter repeater in addition to this one. It makes this timepiece a true collector’s piece, particularly so in view of its outstanding, perfect condition.
