An automatic Geneva wristwatch with chronograph and regatta countdown – no. 827 of a limited edition of 1,300 timepieces produced to commemorate the Alinghi team’s repeat victory of the America's Cup in 2007 - with original Alinghi Audemars Piguet presentation box, certificate, warranty certificate and operating instructions
Case: carbon and ceramique, screwed on back with engraved depiction of the team in action, original caoutchouc strap with "AP" titanium buckle. Dial: black ceramique dial with "Méga Tapisserie" pattern, red Alinghi logo.
On the occasion of the Alinghi team’s repeat victory of the legendary America's Cup, Audemars Piguet launched this new chronograph in 2007. The company chose a novel and unusual material for the case of its timepiece – forged carbon, a fiber that is frequently used in the aviation industry.
