Case: 18k pink gold, push back, rotating within its back plate, polished, reeded, 18k pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre deployant clasp. Dial: silvered, engine-turned centre.
This red gold Jaeger-LeCoultre series "Reverso Répétition Minutes" model is truly a masterpiece, one of a limited edition of 500 pieces only. The movement consists of a total of 306 handcrafted parts; the control device for the striking mechanism sits at 5 o’clock on the silvered dial and can be seen rotating after the repeater has been released by means of a slider on the left side of the case. Despite the delicate gongs and tiny hammers, the minute repeater produces an extraordinarily rich and intense tune. The red gold version was produced in a limited series of 500 pieces.
