A rare Geneva minute repeating dress watch with corresponding golden watch chain
Case: 18k rose gold, push back. Dial: silvered. Movm.: bridge movement, 2 hammers / 2 gongs, gold screw compensation balance.
The condition of both case and dial is excellent, with a matted, rose gold finish and a bezel gently tapering towards the centre. The same warm gold hue is repeated in the beautiful leaf hands and the hour markers, applied Roman numerals and diamond point indexes. The finishing of the movement with its stripe pattern and the compensation balance with blued Breguet hairspring is also outstanding. The lovely sound of the minute repeater is produced by two hammers striking on two different gongs.
